BRAVE Toledo Explorers Project

We are getting together OFF the bike, if you can believe it! We hope that by getting girls together to try new things, we can develop confidence and a sense of adventure, learning all the fun the outdoors has to offer.
Sessions meet weekly on Wednesdays at Silver Lake Parking Lot at Side Cut Metropark, 6:30-8:00PM. Same time, same place, each week 4/15/25 thru 5/6/25.
- April 15 – Survival Skills
- April 22 – Archery
- April 29 – Fishing
- May 6 – Tree Climbing
All equipment is provided and registration includes all four sessions. Please register only for the April 15th session.
This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. Please bring a reusable water bottle filled with water to each program.
Kids who are in kindergarten and 1st grade must have an adult (female adult preferred) accompany them for the duration of the program to help them participate. Kids in 2nd grade and above may be dropped off.
Staff can adapt many programs to be accessible to anyone who would like to participate. Please tell us your needs at the time of registration, but no later than 72 business hours prior to the program. For additional information or questions, please contact Metroparks staff by calling 419-407-9700 or by using the Contact Us form at MetroparksToledo.com.
