Race #2 of the 2025 MiSCA Race Series

ADDISON OAKS COUNTY PARK | LEONARD, MI

These are student-only races for Elementary, Middle, and High School-ages. No team, no problem – students can participate as individuals. To be eligible to race, students must be registered in MiSCA’s online system. Additionally, the rider will register for the races they plan to participate in.

• Race Category Changes must be received by 11:59PM on the Wednesday before the race.
• Elementary (grades 5 and under) riders will race on Saturday afternoons and older riders (grades 6 and over) will race on Sundays (start times by category to be announced).

CAMPING: Camping available at the park, call to reserve. Call 248-858-1400 Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. during the off season and seven days a week from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. during in season. [MORE INFORMATION]

PARKING: we are working with the parks department to understand how vehicle entry fees will be handled in 2025.

ADVANCED COURSE (6.5 miles)

• VARSITY: 3 Laps (19.3 miles)
• JUNIOR VARSITY: 2 Laps (12.9 miles)
• ADVANCED MIDDLE SCHOOL: 2 Laps (12.9 miles)

BEGINNER COURSE (3.4 miles)

• NOVICE HIGH SCHOOL: 3 Laps (10.1 miles)
• INTERMEDIATE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 3 Laps (10.1 miles)
• NOVICE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 2 Laps (6.7 miles)
• ADVANCED ELEMENTARY: 3 Laps (10.1 miles)
• UPPER ELEMENTARY: 2 Laps (6.7 miles)
• LOWER ELEMENTARY: 1 Lap (3.4 miles)

RACE DAY SCHEDULES

RIDERS MUST REPORT TO STAGING AT THE ASSIGNED TIMES BELOW

For the second race of the season, riders will be assigned a start location based on the greater of their points earned in the first race or their highest scoring race of the previous race series, regardless of whether the points were earned in the same category as the current series or not. In the case of a tie, the tiebreaker will be points earned in the first race. If a tie remains, the order will be assigned randomly. We put this staging methodology in place to make it so that 1 bad/missed race doesn’t drastically impact a racer’s series.
